Now Is Not the Time is a first-of-its kind immersive art exhibition that merges virtual production, Artificial Intelligence (AI), generative art, architecture, sculpture, film and music.
It is a homage to Singapore’s founding father Lee Kuan Yew – architect of modern Singapore, tireless advocate for multiculturalism and champion of technology and innovation – on the occasion of his 100th birthday.
Lee Kuan Yew had a vision for Singapore. Along with an entire generation of pioneers, he pursued this vision with imagination and unwavering determination until it became our reality.
The exhibition explores Singapore’s rich historical narrative while celebrating the country’s technological prowess. As such it serves as a beacon for navigating the future, reminding us to draw on the past and the deep reservoir of wisdom it has given us, and to remain committed to progress.

Now Is Not the Time is curated by X3D Studio, a global creative studio at the forefront of new media and virtual production. The Future Is…
Using 3D creation tool Unreal Engine, X3D takes a peek into the future and imagines Singapore in 100 years. Having embraced Lee Kuan Yew’s vision to remain innovative, agile, competitive and creative, Singapore in 2123 is a technologically advanced haven that invests heavily in environmental conservation, drone mass transport zip through skyscrapers, and HDB’s are self-sustaining vertical farms and solar power sources. The 3D experience is narrated by actor Lim Kay Tong.

AGE REQUIREMENT: The exhibition is open for ages 13 years old and above

ENTRANCE COST: Free! Just book a time slot to receive an entrance ticket.

PARKING: Paid parking is available on-site for $3 per 90 minutes

SHUTTLE: A bus shuttle is available between Harbourfront MRT Station Exit D and the Exhibition
